Weigh in & kit check 0900-1030 on the morning of the competition (Saturday 7th April). There is no kit check or registration on the friday, as the building is closing early. Lifting scheduled to start at 1100. There will be 2 platforms, with 3 flights on each. Finish time should be around 1700 to 1800. 68 entries confirmed. Full entry list as follows. Please check you are on the list, if not contact Wullie ASAP. For those that have not been to Scotstoun Stadium before, note the competition is in the Stadium, which is the building on the left as you enter the complex. There is a cafeteria and restaurant in the main sports building at the rear of the complex, which should be open all day.

Mikhail Koklyaev performed a series of demo lifts at the Palace of Art Weightlifting Club in Glasgow .Here are some video links to some of his incredible lifts, 190Kg snatch, 400Kg deadlift x 3,270Kg behind the neck jerk and a 290Kg squat with no hands! Koklyaev has lifteda 210Kg snatch, 250Kg clean and jerk, 365Kg squat and a 414Kg deadlift in competition.
